Robalo has built quality fishing boats for decades. The latest in the model line, the R245, retains the superb Hydrolift hull design of the center consoles but adds a family-friendly cuddy cabin to the mix. The company employs a variable dead- rise hull transitioning up to wide, reverse chines with big flat areas that add considerably to roll stability. In addition, the reverse chines knock spray down rather than out, making for a relatively dry ride. Standard-issue Lenco electric trim tabs help smooth and balance the ride, too. .
